Academia de San Gabriel Archangel was incorporated in February 2003 as a non-stock non-profit organization with the primary purpose of providing high quality education anchored on the principle of holistic development giving back equal importance to strong faith and character formation in a child's education.

Its corporate objectives, as listed in its Articles of Incorporation, are as follows:
A. To run and operate a school to be named as Academia de San Gabriel Archangel, Inc (Malolos).
B. To provide highly affordable but excellent standards of education for children who are in formative years.

It was founded by its current President and Chief Executive Officer, Antonette R. de los Reyes and incorporated by five board members. It is wholly owned by the De los Reyes family. It was granted a permit to operate by both Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) before its actual operations in June 2004. Barely before completing a year of operation, the school has been given a recognition status by DECS in December 2004.
